The first time Elliott and I worked together, he was carving his way as a poet. Recently he reached out to me for a second shoot to document a new phase in his life as he transitions into being a songwriter while keeping his foundation as a poet. Chatting as we wandered around Gastown, I did my best to capture his personality in the images that I was creating
Back at it with Mallory and Mark. Always fun to work with these guys! They decided to split their engagement shoot into two parts and I was happy to help out. We started in Gastown, which is where they had their first date and then we worked our way to Coal Habour. Looking forward to shooting their wedding next year!
For this shoot I tried out a bunch of new things that I normally wouldnt do. I felt that Gastown and Chinatown offers a unique look with the architecture and character of the places so I tried to really play into that and to have more prominent backgrounds in these photos. Michelle and Byron were great to work with that day as I thought it was rather cold, but they were champs the entire time. Look forward to shooting their wedding in May!
